Echo Of Guru In Voice Of Sishyaas

VEDHAM 2 SLOKAM 7

Special News on Vaikuntha Eakadashi.

Vaikunta Ekadashi also referred as mokshadhaa in Marghashis month on Hindu Calender on 11th day of shukla paksha (re growing phase of moon)

Raja Vaikanasan was rulling the city of Kambam. One  day while he was sleeping, his ancestors came his dream and said they are suffering in hell and wants to attain good state and detangle from sufferings. Being cautioned by the dream Raja asked for suggestion from his ministers. The ministers were not in a position to solve the king's problem. However they suggested that Parvadha Rishi would know the solution. So king has approached the rishi. Rishi saw in his Dhivya Drishti that "Kings Father had committed many sin. He had self pride and considered that no one was greater to him. King had physical contacts with his wife within 16 days of her monthly periods which should be avoided. This phenomenon is backed up even by scientific reason.

As the king's father was involved in committing sins his good deeds could not reach his ancestors so as a result they have to suffer. So to compensate for the sins done by his father rishi suggested that 'Raga and his wife' should observe fast on Vaikuntha Ekadashi and do pooja.  Accordingly the Raja & his wife observed fast and did pooja   on Vaikuntha Ekadashi following which their ancestor's were freed from hell and attained good state.

Today the day of Vaikuntha Ekaadashi, by doing namajabam and devotion one can easily salvate from this cycle of birth and death. So don't lose this opportunity, we do't know whether we would see next Vaikuntha Eakaadhashi or not.

Radhekrishna.
In this issue we are continuing with the previous months verse told by King Bharatha to Rahugana.
Everyone is searching for happiness in this world. Work gives happiness to some people, food gives happiness to some, some find happiness in the idiot box and there are so many material things which people depend on for happiness. They may outwardly argue that such things give them perfect happiness, but the truth is they are deceiving themselves. They are just fooling themselves by searching happiness externally when the ocean of happiness lies within Lord Shri Krishna.
How do mundane people come to know about the internal happiness? People are busy attending their daily duties and think that there is hardly any time to peep within oneself.

In fact people have time for everything, but the lack of interest to discover the Lord sitting within is the only obstacle in attaining spiritual progress. It is only a Sathguru who awakens a sleeping samsaari and instills in him/her a burning desire to experience the Lord.
It is only the burning desire which will help to attain the Lord. Just by accepting sansyaasa (renounced order of life) is not enough. Sanyaasa is very difficult to follow. Just abandoning a family life and going to a jungle or an isolated place does not make a person a perfect sanyaasi. Nor there is a guarantee that he will attain the Lord. Sanyaasa is about controlling the emotions and senses while bhakhti is getting liberated from troubles and tensions. It is only a sathguru who can give bhakthi to a devotee.
Also prescribing the duties of a householder doesnt ensure liberation. Everyone is leading a family life. There are people who follow the duties which a perfect householder is expected to. How many of them have realized the Lord? Even Sri Jayadeva and Sri Padmavathi led a family life, but bhakthi was their priority. The result Bhagawan Sri Krishna Himself penned the verses for Jayadeva in the Geeta Govinda.

Becoming a student of spiritual science is not enough. A lot depends upon the spiritual master also. Today there are many people posing as sanyaasis and gurus and deceiving people, but there are true Sathgurus also, whose priority is to bestow true happiness to the people.
This kaliyuga is like a jackfruit on the tree. A jackfruit on the tree appears tempting. But if an inexperienced person happens to cut the fruit, he/she will be in a mess. For the fruit is sticky inside and only an experienced person knows to apply oil on his/her hands before cutting a jackfruit. Similarly, this kaliyug is tempting and people are too excited on seeing the external pleasures. But once they get caught in the web, then starts the trouble. But an experienced person (A Sathguru) knows to apply the oil called Bhagawan Naamasankirtana  to tackle the material problems and attain the true happiness.
A Sathguru thus sells this oil only to those people who are interested in buying it.
So why dont you come forward to purchase it? It is free of cost, but the benefit it gives is immeasurable.

ACHYUTHA PRIYAA

' short stories to regain your faith '

What is life? Life is for chanting Krishna. Without Krishna this life is utter waste. Life is to enjoy! Enjoyment is in chanting Krishna! The door of this mind should be open only for Krishna. Like a bee, which drinks honey from a flower and with a semi-conscious mind it resides on it, we must also chant Krishna and keep our mind bloomed as a flower so that Krishna would enter our mind like a bee and taste the sweet nectar of naamasankeertanam and dwell in our mind eternally.

Our mind is the temple and Krishna resides in it. If our mind is the temple, then it should be dirt free and apparent. There should not be any dirt in it. Here dirt refers to unwanted thoughts about the materialistic worldly life. Once Krishna starts residing in it all the dirt will just start burning like ashes and our mind will be as clear as plain milk. This neatness can be achieved only if we do sincere chanting and sincere prayers

Bagawan Krishna is the ocean of mercy. It is we who never understand His mercy. Why we never understand His mercy? The only and the main reason is we lack faith in Him! Only if we have true and unconditional faith in Krishna, we can win and come up in life. Faith is the foundation of Bhakthi!

We ourselves can realize this! Whenever we have true faith in Krishna we never lose in life and keep on winning. On the contrary, if we lose faith or just doubt in His naama, instinctively we can feel some kind of restlessness in our mind, well be confused, frustrated, irritated; in the end we would feel that life is nil!!!!!!!!! True and unconditional faith in Krishna can take us to great heights in life.

We keep faith in all things except Bagawan Krishna. While we sit on a chair do we ever think that it would break and well fall down? When we switch on a fan do we ever think that it will fall on our head and harm us? While going to hotel have we ever thought that the food we are ordering might be spoiled or some rodents or insects might have fallen in it? Like this we can take many examples from our day-to-day life.

Therefore, without true and unconditional blind faith we can never realize the true bliss of Bagawan Krishna!

In all the last issues we had seen experiences of young bhakthaas. This issue is a special one where we will be seeing experience of a school going small child. Whether the child is a boy or a girl? How that child experienced Krishna? Did that child also have unconditional faith in Krishna?

Eager to know about that child? Wait till the next issue! Radhekrishna

HRUDAYAANJALI

' power of divine grace '

Due to our Gurujiamma, H.H Sathguru Shree Poojyashree Shree Amma, and Guruji, Mahan Brahmashree Gopalavallidasar, it has now become possible to know what real happiness is and also experience it. There is no doubt that chanting is indeed very very effective. The peace of mind that one gets by chanting Radhekrishna Radhekrishna is incomparable. Its very true.

I had a good experience recently owing to chanting. I am currently working in a firm as a part of my articleship (part of chartered accountancy course). I was at the office of one of the clients of the firm in which I am working. The client was at Thane.

My senior wanted me to probe into a specific accounting area and prepare a report of my findings. He had given me broad guidelines as to how the work had to be done but not definite instructions.

I was a bit nervous to be frank as to what was the exact nature of work to be done. But it struck me quite soon as to what the solution to this problem was! I just prayed to Krishna, Krishna, I dont know anything. I am surrendering myself to your feet. Please consider me as your child and help me out of this problem. Then I chanted the Radhekrishna namam for sometime and leaving everything on Krishna I just started my checking work and prepared the report, as I felt appropriate.

And to my surprise when my senior saw that report he was overjoyed. He told me that he knew there were issues in that specific area which required a thorough checking but no one had checked it and prepared the report in the manner in which I had prepared it. He appreciated my work for bringing those issues to light and confidently forwarded that report to the clients personnel at the managerial levels and asked them to take a note of it and resolve the issue at the earliest.

It was a great feeling but I knew it wasnt me who did all of that work. It was Krishna all along. It was He who made me do it all.

I am ever indebted to Gurujiamma and Guruji because they have changed my life entirely and showed me the right path to proceed in my life. I shall try my best to meet and fulfil their expectations from me as their disciple.
