Guru
Geetha
The
world is so miraculous. It moves at its own pace and no one can stop
it. Everyone dreams of winning the world but at the end it is they
who get defeated. People have high ambition of ruling and
controlling the world. But little do they realize that they fail to
conquer their own mind. We fall prey to our own mind.
The
moment we see some one wearing a attractive dress we start
calculating about how we would look in that dress. The minute we see
a beautiful or handsome, female or male walking down the street our
mind goes crazy and our thinking turns immoral. Our mind is easily
lost in worldly riches and luxuries and we dream of enjoying those
at some future date. The thieves within us like anger, lust greed
steal ourselves and we dream about conquering the world.
It
is Bagawan Krishna who has the power to control each and every
activity of this world and we are merely tools in His hands. The
Supreme lord does exist in form of idol, in form of Namasankeertan,
in form of holy books like Bagawatham, Ramayana etc. But it is the
Sathguru who makes us realize the divine power of Bagawan Krishna.
It is he who lifts us from the dirt and cleanses us.
So
it is said in Guru Geetha that "Na
guror adhikam tatvam". It means there is no higher philosophy
than Guru. People say it is necessary to follow certain philosophy
and principles in life. Philosophy is nothing but assimilation of
ideas/truth that would help us to lead a smooth life sans sorrows.
Most of the times philosophies tend to look good only in books and
when it comes to practical life its application is constrained. GURU
- the one who guides us in every step of life, the one who is always
ready for our rescue, the one who gives us confidence and motivation
from within. So can there be a superior philosophy than guru? The
true essence of all philosophies can be understood only if one
understands the philosophy of guru.
Even the Upanishads says the secret of Upanishads is
revealed only to the one who has superior Guru Bhakthi".
"Na guror adhikam tapah":
It means there is no superior meditation than Guru. Meditate
is to focus our mind. The moment one thinks of his guru thousands of
lights of happiness are lit in his mind. The person who can give
such strength has to be the highest form of meditation. Modern day
meditation asks for focusing our mind on a single spot or on a
candle flame. It seems to be a little difficult to concentrate when
thousands of thoughts are running in our mind. Doing such kind of
meditation seems to be out of compulsion as there exist no interest
between us and the candle flame.
It is not necessary to devote separate time for meditation
upon Guru as required in other cases. On the other hand it is easy
to meditate upon our guru because of his never ending grace that we
experience each moment.
"Na Guror adhikam naaynam". There is no higher knowledge that
Guru. It is said the world is vast ocean of knowledge. All these
knowledge put together cannot compete with the knowledge of Guru.
The highest knowledge is to know the wish of Guru and behave as per
His desire. Because it is Guru who knows what is good for us and
which would give us the Supreme happiness. Guru imparts the
knowledge that is immortal and comes with us for all Janmas
(births). A Guru enlightens us with the knowledge that 'Bagawan
Krishna is always there to protect us and he won't leave us in any
situation.' This is the true knowledge which would help us in all
times and situation. The specialized knowledge in one field will not
be helpful during all times of our lives. The rocket scientist who
is drowing will find his rocket science to be useless in a effort to
save his life. But the knowledge of imparted by Guru will save a
person even if he is caught in a flood.
It
is said that when you stand facing the light it's hard to see a
shadow. So if we have a Sathguru its difficult to be unhappy. We
must bow down to such a Guru who is highest form of philosophy,
meditation and knowledge.

'
short stories to regain your faith '
Radhekrishna!
Just as you all are eager to know whether the boy called Gopal Anna or
not we are eager to know what experience Gopal Anna gave to you all.
The
boy was feeling very much afraid of erasing the dense forest. He was
feeling extremely lonely. In most of the human beings it can be noticed
that loneliness automatically arouses an unknown fear within them. The
reason for this is human mind. At lonely times human mind has the power
to think about
Krishna
as well as other unwanted things. It is up to every individual that
whether to go into the dream world and develop unnecessary fear within
them or think about Krishna, enjoy His grace and make oneself feel safe
and secured. All the great Bhakthaas and Mahatmas love to be alone, so
that they can experience the grace of
Krishna
to the maximum extent without any interruption or disturbance.
The first thing which every individual in this world loves is His own
body. Everyone is concerned about them and has hidden fear that nothing
should happen to them though many may not express this or accept this.
The sole purpose of human body is to do Bhakthi. We are provided with
eyes to see Bagawan Krishna, ears are to hear His stories, nose is to
smell the fragrance of the flowers offered on His body, mouth is to eat
the food offered to Him and legs are to walk to His place. We can
consider ourselves as human beings only if we do bhakthi!!!!
We have come in this world with a human body only to do bhakthi. This is
the last opportunity granted to us to do bhakthi and attain Moksha! We
have taken birth as an insect, bird, animals in our previous births and
have enjoyed pleasures of every sort but the only thing which we have
failed to do is bhakthi. So only we have been given a second chance.
When we are born in this sacred Bharata Bhoomi, as a Hindu, i.e. in
Santhana Hindu Dharma and are having great Sathguru who shall guide us,
bring Bagawan Krishna in front of us and teach us naamasankeertanam,
then we should feel ashamed if we are devoid of bhakthi.
Human life is just a time span between the birth and the death. We all
are of the opinion that our age increases only once in a year. But we
are getting older everyday. Each hour, each minute, each second is
taking us to death!!! Birth and death are the two facts of human life.
One fact that is birth has already taken place. Now we are negligent
when death would occur. Upanishad says everyday when the sun rises it
takes away 12 hours of our life and it sets taking away another 12 hours
of life.
vedhanooR piraayam nooru manisar thaam puguvarelum
paathiyum urangip pOgum ninRathiR pathinaiyaaNdu
pEthai baalaganathaagum piNi pasi moopputh thunbam
aathalaal piRavi vEndaam arangamaa nagaruLaanE
This
means in case if an individual survives till the 100 years of his age,
nearly 50 years is spent in sleep. In the remaining 50 years some years
are spent in childhood during which we are unaware about anything, then
some years are spent roaming in dream world during our teens. On
crossing the teenage, mind sets out in search of achieving various
things then the old age comes with varieties of disease and draining out
of energy.
This is in short, the life schedule of every human being. In order to
enjoy the true happiness and to lead a smooth and secured life one has
to chant the naama of Bagawan Krishna. a child feels very much secured
in the presence of its parents and walks coolly by holding its mother
with one hand and father with the other. Similarly we should catch hold
of
Krishna
with one hand and Radhe with the other and move safely in this journey
of life. We all are concerned and try our level best to satisfy and
provide happiness to our body which is perishable and shall mix up with
the mud one day. But we all forget to provide happiness to our Aathma
(soul) which is imperishable. Our Aathma shall get enlightened only if
we do bhakthi.
In this Kaliyug Bagawan
Krishna
is in the form of naamasankeertanam. Mandaha Sumandamatayo Mandha Bhagya
Hi Upadrithaha. Bagawan Krishna knows that the life span of the people
in this Kaliyuga is very short. Their mind as well as their fate is
dull. So our kind hearted Bagawan Krishna out of His utter mercy has
come down from His level and made Himself very easily reachable to every
jeevathma in this kaliyuga. All the great saints; bhakthaas and
mahathmas of the past were aware of this fact. They all have very
clearly and firmly provided guidance to the people in this kaliyuga that
naamasankeertanam is the most easiest path of attaining Bagawan Krishna.
Naamasankeertanam is the Kaliyuga dharma. Harer Naama Harer Naama Harer
Naamaiva Kaivalam Kalao Naasthyeva Naasthyeva NAasthyeva Gathiranyatha.
The people in this kaliyuga need everything in the instant form as they
are leadinga fast moving life. naamasankeertanam is the instant form of
attaining the grace of Bagawan which was present neither in the Kriteya
Yugam, nor Treta Yugam nor Dwapara Yugam. Hence it is said:
kruthe yath dhyaatho vishnum
threthaayam yajatho makaihai
dwaapare paricharyaayaam
kalauv thath hari keerthanaath
Meaning:
the result (fruit) which one gets by doing dhyanam (meditation) in krite
yugam, doing yagnam in treat yugam, and doing pooja in dwapara yugam,
one shall get the same result in kaliyuga just by chanting the naama of
Bagawan Krishna.
Such is the boundless mercy of Bagawan Krishna on His children born in
this Kaliyuga. But we human beings are so much drowned in this worldly
pleasure that we fail to realize the grace of Bagawan. Even today
Bagawan Krishna is waiting eagerly to come running for every jeevathma
which calls Him. But how many of us call Him? We all remember Him either
at the times of difficulty or necessity. Even during difficulties we
curse and blame Him. But He accepts this lovingly and keeps on showering
His grace on us. We have no rights to blame Bagawan for our
difficulties. We ourselves and our self-pride is the reason for every
difficulty which we face in our life.
The major fear of that boy was something might happen to him while
crossing the forest. His fear started increasing and could not resist
himself and started calling Gopal Anna. He did not know who this Gopal
Anna is! He was not aware that Gopal Anna is the creator of this
universe, the great supreme Lord Krishna. He knew only one thing and
that is Gopal Anna would surely respond to his call. He unknowingly had
a staunch faith in Bagawan Krishna. This unconditional belief made Gopal
Anna responds immediately to the call of that boy. Our kind hearted
sweet little
Krishna
came running on hearing the call of this innocent child.
What did this boy do on seeing Gopal Anna? Wait till our next issue.
Till then Radhekrishna!!!!!

RADHEKRISHNA

POOJYA POOJYA SHREE SHREE AMMA
I am one of the disciples of
Guruji. Life has undergone lot of changes after I got MANTRAUPADESHAM from
Guruji. At first I found it as waste of time. But after hearing many
pravachans of Guruji on gurumahimai and krishnaleelai, I came to realize
that namajapam only can give real happiness. Guruji asks us totally
surrender to lotus feet of Gurujiamma and be the property of lord
Krishna
.
Really I was drowning in the sea of worldly things and thought that it could
only give me happiness, Guruji came as a ship and saved me.
With the blessing of Gurujiamma and Guruji, I have got many divine
experiences, of them one of the experiences that touched my heart is----
I am studying in S.Y.B.A. My exams were going on in the month of March. I
get scared of exams, so before leaving for exam, I used to talk with Gurujiamma and Guruji for getting their blessings. By talking with them, I
feel relaxed as if my heavy burden from my shoulder has left out. Gurujiamma
and Guruji told me to chant lord's name and write down the paper. My exams
were also going well.
But on my last paper, day
before going to exam I had talked to Gurujiamma and Guruji to take their
blessings. Gurujiamma told me to chant lord
Krishna's name as She always says. [But something amma has never told me for
other exams] Gurujiamma told me [PATH DI PAPER PARANDUDA PORADHU] be careful or paper will fly
away.
This is something that Amma
has never told before for any of my exams. I could not clearly get the words
spoken by Amma. I kept on thinking but could not recognize the words spoken
by Amma; I left everything on Gurujiamma's lotus feet and started
preparing for my paper.
On
20th march was my last paper. I was sitting in examination hall
and chanting lord
Krishna's name. But some miracle happened. I was very surprised. Normally, I do
not check the answer book. But on that day, I went through the answer
book
[as Amma hinted me] and to my surprise I found that most of my answer
sheet
were not tied properly. If I had not noticed it, then my answer
sheet would
have literally flown. At that point of time, I came to realize the real
meaning of words spoken by Amma.
The golden
words spoken by guru has some
inner meaning and often we neglect it. It is all
because of Amma's krupai and
karunai; if I would not have believed in Amma's words anything could have
happened, I would have lost many marks. This itself suggests that Gurujiamma
has so much care for us. This is something everyone yearns for. I got this
experience only because of Amma's grace. I am very happy.
I
expect more such divine experiences, which will enhance gurubhakti.
