Gur Dhibi Sik Kapada Sikh Kapada, Saboo Sirjan Har Srti Sila Pur Dhoiye , Nikse Jyoti Apaar Sant Kabirdas.....
Meaning Guru the washer man, disciple is the cloth The name of God like to the soap Wash the mind on foundation firm To realize the glow of truth Explanation. With changing phase of life our expectations changes. As a child a balloon seemed to be a big thing but as we n\mature the same balloon seems to be silly. Same way as we progress in our spiritual path the desires for material things would reduce. The next question that pops up in our mind is why should our material desires be reduced. There is nothing wrong in enjoying it.
The spiritual Gurus want us to get rid of material desire because there exist something superior to these enjoyment. Our condition is same like a child who doesn’t want to leave the junk food on hand even if the parents give him healthy and tasty food. We can attain maturity in our spiritual life only if a Sathguur backs us up. Our soul is like a barren land it can be tuned into a green pasture only if the shower called Guru’s grace pours. Like in above verse it is said Guru as a washer man washes the cloth called disciple with the soap called Namajapa.
The cloth on itself is incompetent to wash the dirt on it. Same way the samsaris on themselves cannot get rid of their sins. They need a Guru who teaches Namamjapa(Chanting of Lord’s Name) which eventually cleanses all impurities in the mind and makes way for the divine to glow.
Laxmiamaal was the one blessed with unbound grace of Swami Ramanujar. She was a disciple who lead performed her worldly duties. She was not well off but at heart she was rich and possessing a wealth of being dedicated to Swami Ramanujar. Her poverty did not disturb her. She was confidant that with Swami Ramanujar’s grace she can tackle any situation in life. Her only desire was to do Kaingariam (service) to Swami Ramanujar and she always prayed for that. But her situation did not permit her to go to Sri Rangam (Place of Mutt of Swami Ramanujar) and do Kaingariam there.
Days and years passed. One day Swami Ramanujar with His disciples came to Laxmiamaal’s place. She was not able believe her own eyes that her Sathguru was standing at her doorsteps. Her prayers got answered. She was happy to welcome Swami Ramanujar and did Pada Puja (washing the divine feet of Guru). Swami Ramanujar said that every one would have food at her place. Listening this her happiness-increased manifolds. But she did not have enough grocery to prepare food for everyone. A grocery shop owner was having a wrong intention towards Laxiamaal. Laxiamaal quickly went to the shop owner and bought the grocery form him and in return promised to fulfill his desires.
Her urge to serve the Sathguru was so much that she didn’t even care about herself. She cooked the meal and served the food to everyone. While Swami Ramanujar and Hid disciples were resting Laxmiamaal told everything to her husband. Even her husband supported her because even he was a disciple of Swami Ramanujar. The husband himself took her to the shop owner’s house and requested the owner to first consume the water used in Pada Puja of Swami Ramanujar. The moment the shop owner consumed the divine water his wrong intentions vanished, he realized his fault and asked for forgiveness. From that day onwards he also turned to be Swami Ramanujar’s disciple.
Such is the power of Sathguru. He won’t let His disciples ever lose. When the divine water of Swami Ramanujar itself could reform a person then how could one even calculate real power of Sathguru.
If we remain as stone in hands of sculpture called Guru He is sure to carve s beautifully.

Radhekrishna! We feel blessed to have Guruji and Gurujiamma in our lives. This is a very special issue for us {the young Sishyaas of Guruji}! KrishnavedhaM has completed its three years. This is a very special issue for KrishnavedhaM. Guruji has brought a drastic change in our lives. We are nothing without our Guruji. Just like any other youngsters we were wandering with a question mark in our mind, a fear about tomorrow, lack of confidence, etc…..By the time Guruji came, life took a different turn! Guruji’s teachings made us realize the actual reason of leading life. Just and just by Guruji’s grace we are leading a happy, tension free and peaceful life. Our Guruji is the ocean of mercy! The grace Guruji showers on us is incompatible. Be it any time, Guruji is there to solve all our problems and confusions. This makes our Guruji different and unique! Namasankeertanam by itself is powerful but when we get a naamadeeksha from a Sathguru, we can feel its sanctity i.e. wherever we go, whatever we do, namasankeertanam guides us!!! Our Guruji is the greatest! We have no words to describe His greatness! Sun always exists but we need vision to see it; similarly God’s power exists but we need a Sathguru to realize that power!!! We do innumerous kind of mistakes but still Guruji’s mercy remains the same. We are like puppets. Each one’s thread is in Guruji’s hands hence our life is so soothing and proper else we all will be in different tracks searching for way when it is in front of us. Our Guruji is the best. We keep saying that we feel proud to be Guruji’s Sishyaas but now we have to be in such a way which will make our Gurujiamma and Guruji feel proud and happy for us. Crores and crores of Radhekrishna at the lotus feet of Gurujiamma and Guruji!!!!

This issue we are dedicating to Shri Chokamelar !
A humble devotee of Lord Viththal. The one who belonged to the untouchable caste and was insulted by everyone; yet he used to smile and chant Viththal's nama. Lord Viththal was so delighted with his bhakthi that Viththal Himself held Chokamelar's hands and took him to His temple. The one on whom Lord Viththal showered immense grace by putting His ornament and tulsi mala on Chokamelar's neck. The one who used to chant Viththal innumerously. The one whose ashes also had the vibration and sanctity of Viththal naama.
