Birth
is like a forest we seem to wander like an insane person. We bow
down to that GURU who has shown the way for our lost mind.
Life
itself is so funny. No one seems to enjoy the present moment. As a
child you dream of growing in to adult and achieving your ambitions.
As a grownup, you dream of growing bigger and enjoying the life to
fullest. At a matured stage you dream of disposing all your
responsibility and growing back to your childhood. At the end when
all your hair has turned gray, you wonder what you earned all your
life seems to be useless.
At
every phase of life we are lost either in past or in future. Our
Birth itself seems to be big Question Mark. Some events in our life
would be liked by us but some events seem to be Unfavorable to us.
Whether we like or not we have to go through all situations. We have
a opinion that our actions are directed in the right path but
unknowingly we proceed in a wrong way. We seem
to be lost in the dense forest without a clear direction. A stable
mind will help us overcome all situations in our life. It is
SATHGURU who makes our mind stable. He makes us realize what
happiness is; he guides us and tells us what actions will result in
happiness. So we should bow down to such GURU.
Now-a-days
happiness remains to be such artificial word. People join laughter
clubs to distress their tensions. Just laughing or pretending to be
happy will not improve our lives. When a joke is cracked or
some funny incidence takes place we tend to laugh. But these few
moments of laughing will not relieve us from our sorrow. We have to be happy from inside.
Sathguru is the one who makes our soul bloom with happiness. The knowledge that Lord
Krishna is always with us and will never let us down makes us the
happiest person. This knowledge is imparted by a SATGURU.
GURU
is a sculptor who gives form to shapeless rock called MIND. As a
beautifully crafted sculpture is praised by everyone, even the
person who has been carved by sathguru is respected by everyone. It
is very easy to acknowledge a sculpture but it is very difficult
task to minutely carve the stone. It is even more difficult to carve
the mind of people as the power of freewill makes him/her act in his/her own
way. But as far as rock is considered it remains in same position as
decided by the sculptor.
Guru
is like a tree which will give us cool shade in spite of it
experiencing the scorching heat. Guru is the tree which gives us
shelter even though it drenches in rain. We taste the sweet fruits
and derive happiness. The greatness of the tree lies in not even
tasting the single fruit. Same is the nature of Guru He gives us all
happiness without He Himself enjoying it. Even though the branches of tree are cut
it continues to grow and give happiness. Same is the nature of
SATHGURU even if
we ignore, He always pours grace on us.
GURU
being such a great tree can be realized only if you have halted in
its shade.

ACHYUTHA PRIYAA
'
short stories to regain your faith '
With every sunrise
we wake up with a hope that today would be better that yesterday
and things would go as per our plans. But what happens is the same
story again. Right from getting up at right time, catching the
right train, doing things properly we always dont touch the
perfection. This frustrates us. Whatever we expect doesnt happen.
This happens because we do things as per our wish. We think we
know what is best for ourselves.
But
this is not true. We cant read what is going on in our mind. We
take decisions based on what others suggest. For example even for
simple things like selecting our cloths we are influenced by
current trends and fashion. Some times we do such things and
repent upon it. So do we judge ourselves in the best way, the
answer seems to be negative. When we ask suggestion from others,
people give us solution based on their experience and their
opinion and not what would suits us. So how do we know what is
good and bad for us?
Bagwan
Krishna knows each and every aspect of our life. He knows what is
best for us. So our aim in life should be to do things as per the
wish of Bagwan Krishna. Once we start doing things for Lord
Krishna we are bound to do it perfectly. Even if things we do is
not up to the mark, once it is offered to Krishna it becomes
Prasad (divine offerings) and Lord Krishna the defects in it and
gives us only the good things. Now how do you believe this? It is
a matter of faith in Bagawan Krishna. The more you listen to
Krishna leelas and more you Namasankeertanam the deeper will be
your faith in Him. In Achyutha Priyaa we are presenting such true
stories to enhance your faith.
Last
month we saw how a small kid was encouraged by his widow mother to
go school alone with courage that Gopal Anna would accompany him
whenever called. The small boy left for school. It was the first
time that he was going to school without his mother. Even his
neighbors were surprised to see the boy going to school without
the company of his mother. They started teasing the boy saying
that he would return back and can never cross the forest alone.
But the boy turned deaf ears to their teasing and was very
confident that he can go to school as Gopal Anna would accompany
him. This is how others will try to contain us but we have to rise
above it with the confidence that my Krishna is with me and no one
can harm me. If this attitude is developed we can overcome any
hurdle.
He
easily crossed the city but as he was proceeding towards the
outskirts of the city and was about to enter the forest a fear
engulfed in his mind as to how I can cross this forest? Then
immediately he remembered his mothers words that Gopal Anna would
come to his rescue. This is how a battle goes in our mind between
the good and evil thoughts and we loose ourselves in the battle.
Being trapped in this world of illusion we are unable to come out
of it. So to liberate ourselves we have to beg to the person who
has trapped us Bagawan Krishna. Once you surrender yourself to
Bagwan Krishna he would guide to take correct decision. He guided
Arjuna even in the battle field and told the Bagawath Geetha for
the only reason that Arjuna had surrendered himself to Bagawan
Krishna.
The
small kid was pretty much sure that Gopal Anna would help him to
cross the forest. While entering the forest he prayed from the
bottom of his heart that Gopal Anna should come and remove his
fear. By then he heard some one calling his name. The voice was so
sweet that he put on his thinking caps about the identity of the
person. He couldnt believe his ears and thought it would be an
illusion. But again he heard the same melodious voice. He couldnt
contain his curiosity and turned back to see who it was.
A
small dark boy with a strong built, charismatic face, twinkling
eyes, charming smile, with a turban on his head and dhothi around
his waist was standing in a graceful manner. Seeing him, the small
boy asked, Did you call me? Yes came the reply. The small boy
further enquired, Who are you? The answer was I am Gopal Anna.
You had called me so I came here for your rescue.
The
small boys happiness knew no bound and he said to him I know he
would come, my mother was right now I can cross the forest
safely. Now you would be wondering is it so easily to call
Krishna and get His Darshan? The small boy thought of no other
alternative and he believed that no one else than Gopal Anna could
help him. Without knowing that Gopal Anna Himself is the supreme
Lord the boy had trusted him.
But
we in spite of knowing the miraculous power of Bagwan Krishna
depend on other person to solve our problem rather than
surrendering ourselves to Bagwan Krishna. While finding a solution
for our problem we consider surrendering to Lord Krishna as one of
our alternative (probably the last alternative if others dont
click) and not the only choice. There comes the difference in our
faith and hence difference in manifestation of Krishnas
grace.
The
small boy walked through the woods happily with Gopal Anna. The
small boy curiously asked, I have never seen you before how can
you be my Anna (elder brother)? Gopal Anna replied, Earlier you
didnt call me so I didnt come. Now that you have called me I
have protected you as my younger brother. Engrossed in talking
with Gopal Anna they crossed the forest and reached the school.
The small boy was very thankful to Gopal Anna and said, It is
only because of you that I fearlessly crossed the forest, can you
accompany me even in the evening while I return back from school?
Gopal Anna assured that he would always help him.
The
small boy reached the school. Seeing him alone sans his mother,
teachers and colleagues asked how he came alone for the school. To
that the boy happily replied, I was accompanied by my Gopal
Anna. He was waiting for the school to get over so that he would
again meet Gopal Anna. You also wait until next month to know more
about Gopal Anna.

HRUDAYAANJALI
'
power of divine grace '
I with the blessings of Guruji Amma and Guruji, wish to share some
of my memorable experiences with you all. I have heard sathsangam on
GuruMahimai held by Guruji. After hearing those satsangam, I came to realize
that Satguru is none other than God. Their only aim is to uplift every
people from this evil world and divert their mind towards
KRISHNA
Bhakti.
By continuous chanting Lords name we can enjoy the real and true
happiness.
With Guruji Amma And Gurujis krupai I got one great
experience. I had gone to Chennai to do kaingaryam (service) to Guruji Amma.
I was very excited to go to Guruji Ammas place but I was not knowing
anything about kaingaryam.
I was there from 12th -
29th
of April. To tell about me I was a very lazy girl, never use to wake up
early, careless about each and everything. But
while staying with Guruji Amma for 18 days, I learned many
things which Guruji Amma taught me. It was my Bhagyam (LUCK) to learn
something from Guruji Amma. In Chennai I used to get up at 5 am . Guruji
Amma taught me how to make Kolam (rangoli) how to prepare food, how to make
curd, how to dry Guruji Amma's sari and many more. Right from morning
till night I used to see Guruji Amma's face. Guruji Amma's face has some
divine power because of that negative things doesnt enter to our mind. My
life was totally different while living with Guruji Amma, I felt as if I was
some where in a sacred place.
While doing
kaingaryam I sometimes used to get kottu (scolding) from Guruji Amma. At
that time I made up my mind and remembered the words told by our Guruji
which was:- Guru does not scold us intentionally, their main aim behind
this is to upgrade that child. In the same manner Guruji Amma also says
that :-To make ornament (gold), Goldsmith melts the gold, beats it,
moulds it, mixes with metal and so on to give the gold a perfect shape which
is then it gets superior value. In this way by giving the example of
gold, Guruji Amma had said us that it is very painful when GURU scolds us.
But they do it for our good purpose. These things I realized when I was with
Guruji Amma. Whenever I do wrong things I used to cry before Guruji Amma
that I dont know anything. Guruji Amma used to tell me that Not to cry
and should not repeat that mistake again.
Everyone has some memorable
experience in their life. In a same manner these 18 days are priceless and
memorable for me. I was very depressed when I was returning to Mumbai. On I
was returning to Mumbai, Guruji Amma came outside the house to leave us. At
that moment I remembered only one line:- Irrulinil Oliyaai vandhu nee
Vazhikattu(come and save me from the darkness). Sathgurus always take us
in right path. But often we fail to realize it. There is no need to worry
about anything when we are traveling with them.
My parents were very happy
because I was not that same lazy girl when i returned. Guruji Amma took all
my laziness, bad habits and made me good by HER krupai. Now I help my mother
in household work also get up early in the morning.
These experience I wanted
to share with many people to make them aware that our Guruji Amma is very
caring (saulabyam). Guruji Amma and Guruji care for each and every people.
Sathguru makes us realize
our position and struggle for our good things. I feel very happy that we are
under the guidance of Guruji Amma and Guruji.
